On the 10th of July 2013 Derek and Sue Smith celebrated their Ruby Wedding Anniversary (40 years).

The church family celebrated this milestone in the service on 7th July, where they were joined by Derek & Sue’s son Mark  and his wife Jo and their baby Iris.

Derek and Sue said “We want to thank everyone at St Barnabas’ & St Lazarus for celebrating with us. We remain 10 years behind Church Councillor Bob & Sheila Day who mark their Golden Wedding this coming weekend .”
