Rev’d John Attenborough

Rev’d John has worked for the Mission to Seafarers for almost 29 years and during that time he has worked in various Ports such as Immingham, Mombasa, Antwerp, Medway and Thames, Southampton and is now based in Limassol in Cyprus as the Regional Director for the Middle East and South Asia (MESA)
During my time with the Mission he has worked in different models of ministries, contexts and settings. He has seen first hand how the Mission helps seafarers and comes to their aid when things go wrong.
His role as Regional Director for the MESA region is varied and it involves being a good leader, manager and also to be able to inspire our team to achieve greater things for our Seafarers.
Rev’d John is married to Yara and they have one son, John Jnr who is in secondary school here in Cyprus.
 
Rev’d John was Ordained Deacon in Winchester Cathedral in 2021 and I was Priested in Winchester in 2022.
